Tintin Ship
New in the collection "Musée imaginaire"
This beautiful figurine from the collection « Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin » is a real pleasure for the eyes. The Sirius, the mythical ship from the album "The Treasure of Scarlet Rackham", comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity. True Tintin fans will surely make their tintinophile friends jealous with this figurine and it will certainly make the most ardent fans tremble!
The characters and objects of this new series were designed based on the poster Hergé made for the exhibition "Le Musée Imaginaire de Tintin" in 1979. Each figurine comes in a special box with a certificate of authenticity. In June 1979, a large-scale exhibition, which would later be organized in other locations, was inaugurated at the Center for Fine Arts in Brussels.
Hergé was not aware of the full catalogue, but the organizers explained to him that the purpose of this exhibition was to compare the legendary objects Tintin collected during his adventures with the real objects that inspired Hergé. Hergé created the poster of the exhibition and drew his main characters in the middle of an imaginary setting that many Tintin fans and collectors could only dream about."
